FlytBase hosted 50+ participants from some of the top universities across India like IIT Bombay, NIT Calicut, IIT Kanpur etc. In partnership with Symbiosis and IIT Bombay, a 4-hour workshop on the commercial use cases of automated drones was conducted on the 14th of December at the FlytBase office in Pune. Throughout this workshop, we deep-dived into the world of automated drones and what role FlytBase play in the same. We covered the basics of autonomous drones, how has the industry evolved and what can we expect in the future. Towards the end of the session, we gave a live demonstration of how a DJI drone powered with FlytBase can autonomously complete a mission and return to the docking station safely.
